Youth Concerto 2024 

​The Gainesville Orchestra Youth Concerto Competition was a tremendous success with 31 entries of nine different instruments performed by excellent young musicians. The five judges spent many hours viewing the entries on YouTube, and they were amazed at the talent of students from the State of Florida. Congratulations to the teachers and parents of all the entrants who also deserve recognition. 
 
Sarah Park is our first-place winner, and because of the high level of entrants, we have invited others to perform with the orchestra this season, as well as to perform in an “honors” recital this April.
